This absolutely adorable dresser to dress up DIY project was submitted by Alexis. This is such a fun project and can be completed in a weekend.
To create this dress up station remove the top drawers from the dresser. Place a piece of wood over the bottom drawer that remains in the dresser and screw/ nail it to the rails on each side so it is secure.
Secure a pole across the top for hanging clothes and attach hooks on the sides for accessories.
I love the fun pink color Alexis used and paper lining the back of the dresser. This is great if you have a piece that isn’t in the best condition because the paper will hide a lot. I would use a Mod Podge to attach any paper or fabric to the surfaces.
This would look so cute in a play room or little girl’s room. You could also paint it to coordinate with a living area in your home. The possibilities are endless!
Last month I asked for my readers to submit their best makeover and repurposed projects. I was amazed at how many creative and awesome projects you submitted.
Over the next few months I’ll be sharing some of your amazing DIY projects! If you have a project you’d like featured you can submit it here. We’re giving away a $50 Amazon gift card every month to one reader who submits their own DIY project.
