You know how much I love repurposing items instead of throwing them away. When my sister-in-law’s trash pick-up wouldn’t take their old futon frame she repurposed it to hold all their pool toys and supplies.
Isn’t that clever? They also live on a canal, so the frame holds life vests and other boating supplies as well. If you find an old futon at a yard sale this summer it might be worth buying and using as a storage rack by the pool!

Now this I like…what a great idea…cause the paint is usually still good. just be sure a strong wind does not blow it over…maybe a hook in the ceiling with a rope tied..if the wind is as strong as we get the nails in the wall would not hold it…

Very clever and resourceful.

I would have never thought about it…so clever! I was just telling my mom how it breaks my heart that we’ve become such a throw away nation.

I did something similar with a metal headboard. “S” hooks work great for hooking items on it also. Love the repurposing 🙂

That’s a great idea. We have been storing all of stuff inside a YardStash product. Thanks for sharing!
