I keep one in the shower to clean my jewelry with. I just use my body wash and it makes it sparkle.
Funny but true story: I once tried to use a toothbrush for cleaning purposes and then spent weeks trying not to gag everytime I brushed my teeth. :\ I guess it’s a mental thing with me; I just cannot use a toothbrush for anything than brushing my teeth otherwise I only think of the nasty stuff I cleaned when I see one.
I always put red permanent marker on the handle so I know, in case there is any question, that is a “cleaning” brush now.
LOL ….. I can’t stop laughing!

I took my old toothbrush, ran it under scalding water, and re-purposed it as my dog’s toothbrush. I brush her teeth with a little baking soda and water. She hates it. But, her breathe smells pretty great!
I keep one at my kitchen sink & use it to clean my Bosch (among other things)… nothing gets around the ridges better! =)
cleaning around faucets, bathroom, kitchen, etc. And it get junk under burner plates that gets baked on.
I actually buy the toothbrushes with the replaceable heads now. I may not get another life out of the old ones, but I am only throwing away the bristles now instead of the whole thing. It may be little, but I’m sure they add up in the landfill!

I like to use my to clean around the faucets in the bathrooms. I can reach directly under the faucet with my sponge and get everything so the tooth brush does the job. Same around the sink drains and tub drain.
I use my when refinishing furniture. I scrub the deeper creviced parts, like turned spindles, with it after they have sat a bit with paint stripper.
