Do you have one of those little silverware organizers? I do and I’ve noticed that it seems to collect crumbs, dirt, and whatever else slides off my kitchen counters into the drawer.
I usually clean out my silverware tray once a month, and it is always this dirty! Take a few minutes out of your spring cleaning schedule to clean and organize your silverware drawer this week.

Ha, this was on my to do list for this week. What is up with how dirty they get? So gross!

I have a crock in which I keep all of my cooking utensils. I cleaned that this week because it was just as yucky on the inside as my silverware organizer!

Yeah, how does that happen? Are there little elves or gremlins that sneak around at night and put crumbs in drawers and layers of dust inside enclosed curios? And why is it that I seem to have one less corncob holder each time?

By simply closing the drawer after you have taken out what you need, it really cuts down on the crumb thing. For me it is simple I don’t have a built in organizer in the drawer. I have the plastic thing, at the end of the week or when I forgot to close the drawer I just empty the tray and all into the dishwasher.
