Paula keeps electrical cords organized and neat by folding them up and placing them inside an empty toilet paper tube. It helps keep everything neat and straight in the drawer and makes it easier to find the right item.
She says the toilet paper tubes can also be used for holding scrunchies and ponytail holders but she cuts them in half before using them for that purpose.

My father Gene Swain, came up with the idea of a Tubeacord- a cord in a plastic tube, back in 1967. At the time it cost more to package them{5} in a bag, than it took to make them. They came in different colors and had rounded ends.
