Homemade Christmas Gift #16: Brown Bag Basket
This is a really cute idea that can be made with leftover fabric scraps and a brown paper bag. It looks like it takes a little time to make, but it would make a great gift! Personalize it for a custom homemade Christmas gift!
Find out how to make this cute bag on Up the Rainbow Creek.

Years and years ago I made these, but instead of weaving fabric I used .. hmm … rafia, I think? … I made so many of these as gifts. LOVE!!!

I made these for EVERYONE one year but I used empty laundry powder boxes instead of the paper bags. The boxes are much sturdier and just the right size for a loaf of bread. :o) You can also use ice cream tubs for round ones and those nice flat rate boxes (medium size) that you get free at the post office. Think outside of the box, you can use almost anything, of any size!

Cute and creative Idea, but Is there a way to make it more sturdy?

I think someone suggested a sturdier version in the comments.

What a beautiful basket! Such a nice gift – maybe filled with some of the other homemade gift ideas – coffee syrups, flavored liquor, bath products. Wonderful job.
