Pam at Brown Thumb Mama says,
“We all know that buying from the bulk bins saves money. But nobody wants to store their bulk buys in the thin, flimsy plastic bags you get at the store! Wash and reuse jars that are destined for the recycle bin. You’ll save twice–first by buying in bulk and again by not buying special storage containers.”

I don’t know BrownThumbMama but I think she has been in my pantry. My husband buys things at Costco in big plastic containers with twist top lids then he fills them with cereal, nuts, raisins, etc. You can see what is inside so you know when you are running low. Great tip, BrownThumbMama.
