It’s fall and pumpkins are everywhere! Stock up, cook them up, and freeze them for delicious pumpkin recipes all winter. You can find them all pumpkin recipes here!

Dairy Queen Copy Cat Pumpkin Pie Blizzard

This Dairy Queen copycat pumpkin pie blizzard is perfect for fall. It tastes just like the blizzard from Dairy Queen, but you don't have to leave the house to get it.
I was not trying to make a Dairy Queen pumpkin pie blizzard a few weeks ago, I was actually trying to make pumpkin pie ice cream. My ice cream ended up being more like a milkshake and my daughter told me it tasted just like Dairy Queen’s Pumpkin Pie Blizzard.

I had to make it a few more times, so all my testers could try it, but they all agree it is delicious!

I used to work at DQ years ago. A Pumpkin pie blizzard is simply a slice of pumpkin pie mixed with soft serve ice cream.

It should be in the spice aisle. Most stores should have it around the holidays.

Silly question but you list pumpkin pie crust in the ingredients but not in the steps to making it. Do you actually put pie crust in it???

Opps just saw that you break up the pieces of pie crust and add before serving!

Oh! I so wish I had seen this before my baking day today! I made Lynn’s Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins. Since I use canned (gasp!) pumpkin, and 3/4 + 3/4 = 1 1/2, I still had about a 1/2 cup left that I totally could have used for this! Instead, I just added a bit more pumpkin to each of the other recipes (which worked fine, but this would’ve been an even better way to stretch the can!).

    1 teaspoon ground allspice
