Homemade Cranberry Sauce with Walnuts
Ingredients
- 1 16- ounce bag fresh cranberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup no sugar added strawberry preserves
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts lightly toasted
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring water and sugar to a boil. Once boiling, add cranberries and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until most cranberries have burst their skins.
- Remove cranberries from heat and stir in strawberry preserves, cinnamon, walnuts, and balsamic vinegar.
- Cover and chill until ready to serve.
