Search & WinChristmas is right around the corner and I know many of you are saving your Swag Bucks to purchase Amazon, Target, Starbucks, and iTunes gift cards to give as gifts this year.

For those of you who have not signed up for Swag Bucks, why not? I bugged my friend Jen to sign up for months and she finally did and is kicking herself for not signing up sooner! Last year I used Swagbucks to pay for all our Christmas gifts, it is a great way to get free stuff and it costs you nothing!

I wanted to give you a few tips for redeeming swagbucks, so you don’t make the same mistakes I made last year.

1. You can redeem Swag Bucks for 2 prizes every day.

This means each day you can “buy” two items from the swag store. It can be two of the same item or you can pick different items but the daily limit is two items total.

2. You can only buy 5 of each item every month with Swag Bucks.

For example, this means you can only buy 5 of the $5 Amazon gift cards each month. After you reach your limit you can buy 5 of the $25 gift cards, but each prize is limited to 5 per month.

3. Prizes are usually received within 2 weeks, but it can take up to 30 days.

I cannot remember any prize I have ever ordered taking more than 2 weeks, but if you want to make sure something arrives in time for Christmas order early.

4. You can use as many gift cards as you like when redeeming them at Amazon, Southwest, Target, etc.

You can save up your gift cards and redeem them all at once. I did this last year with Amazon gift cards, and ended up ordering all my Christmas gifts and paying only a couple of dollars because I had a few hundred dollars in gift cards. Amazon allowed me to enter as many gift card codes as I wanted. The same is true for Southwest and iTunes. As always, make sure you check with the store to confirm this information.

The bottom line is, if you are saving Swag Bucks for Christmas the time to redeem them is now! If you need help maximizing your Swag Bucks check out my post, How to Win Swag Bucks. There are simple things you can do to win more bucks every day, and more Swag Bucks equals more great prizes!

She is telling the 100% truth. I can’t believe I didn’t sign up sooner, but thrilled that I did when I did because most of my Christmas is covered. WOOT WOOT!

I always buy the $5 Amazon cards as they have a better points to dollar value than the larger ones for some reason. Means more code entries, but worth it!

Thanks for posting this! I used my swagbucks last year and I bought my Amazon cards as I went, but this I was hording them and I was going to cash in at a later time. I was not aware of the restrictions, thanks so much! I just bought my first two cards right after I read this. I love swagbucks! It is just an added bonus to my xmas shopping. Thanks again!

So glad I found your site….I just signed up for swagbucks a couple of days ago and I now have 108 swagbucks and haven’t even looked to see what I’m supposed to do with them. LOL I know I would like to get gift cards for my kids stockings, so I guess I should venture over to swagbucks to try and figure out how to redeem the bucks.

Thanks for sharing these tips, I really appreciate it! 🙂

The gift card codes are located in account under my gift cards. I’m fustrated by the 5 card limit a month I just hit it and is fustrating and I’m not sure I can get to 3,000 and whatever to get $25 cards after reach limit on$5 ones however isn’t as bad as had I reached limit earlier this month as it is just till Saturday however is a bit annoying and the $25 overall d cost more then getting $25 in $5 cards. I’m seriously to point of being out of ideas on what to search atm I’m using mostly vids to earn swagbucks.
