Homemade Christmas Gift #6: Appliqued Receiving Blankets

These blankets are so adorable! If you have a baby on your Christmas list these would make a great homemade gift!

Diana has a great tutorial on her site for these cute baby blankets. While these blankets may take a little more time than some of my other homemade gift suggestions it is only September so you have time to make one, or five!

I have often crocheted the edge of receiving blankets but it’s never dawned on me to applique on it too. Great idea!

Too cute! We don’t have a newborn on our Christmas list… our little miracle isn’t arriving until April. I’ll save this idea–and work on it after Christmas!!
