I love You Capture. I love to take photos and I love looking at other people’s photos. I would encourage anyone who loves to take pictures to participate. Each week there is a theme, and this week’s theme is Real Life. I love it because I feel like all my photos are “real.”
Here are a few real life shots from our visit to Colonial Williamsburg. Trip details coming soon.

They were trying to strike a serious pose…

Cora slept a lot… I think she might be getting sick again.

Pretending to be a horse.

Thanks for always telling me how much you like my blog design! I love yours cause it’s pink and that’s my favorite color!
I hope Cora doesn’t get sick!

Wonderful pictures. I haven’t been there in AGES. Look at how big they’re all getting, wow, your kids shot up in size, huh?
And Cora, sweet Cora, I hope she feels better soon. The gunk has a grip on me and won’t let go

I love the pictures! I grew up in VaB (Navy Brat) and I can’t recall ever visiting. We go down to Cheatham Annex every Thanksgiving. This year, I’m taking my 3 boys to Colonial Williamsburg. To be excused from school, I have to put in a “Educational Trip” form – I’ll have to start looking at the website for the “educational” section!

I love your pictures! William & Mary is my alma mater, so Williamsburg is close to my heart… I took many a walk down Dog (Duke of Gloucester) Street to clear my head after a long day of classes. Can’t wait to hear more about your visit!

I loved your post and the pictures. We went yesterday for Veteran’s day and got soaked.
But my two little ones loved it. Not the rain part but the silversmith and the printing press.

That looks like a fun day. I love the boy being a horse picture.

I have been enjoying your blog for months! What an awesome surprise I found in your second photo down!!! The blacksmith in the tan vest in background is my cousin, Mark Sperry! He has been working for Colonial Williamsburg as a blacksmith for the past 10+ years. I have had many smiles over your posts, but today’s was the best so far!

I didn’t read all the comments so this may have already been mentioned but all your kids look alike…just like their daddy! I think that’s so funny. My kids all look like we cloned them…the baby pictures get so confusing lol! Of course, I’m sure they look like their mommy too but just at first blush, especially with pictures of them and dad together..they all favor him so much. I love family vacations and educational ones at that. We went to St. Augustine in Sept. and did some educational things and the kids are still talking about it. Great pics!

Great pics; your little one is getting so big now. She’s adorable!
I would love to take the kiddos there (at least it’s on the wish list, along with the Creation Museum, but that’s a totally different direction LOL). We saw a reenactment here recently & they loved it. When is the best times to go to Colonial Williamsburg?
