Today was one of those days that started dreary and cloudy, then as the day progressed it cleared up just enough for the sun to peek through the clouds.

My boys found a pallet and began taking it apart in order to make something new. My girls played in the woods behind our house, running through the leaves and enjoying the cooler air. My oldest daughter asked to borrow my camera, because it was just a perfect day to take pictures.

I think someone might want to borrow the camera more often.

You’re lucky to have such beautiful children to ‘enhance’ your photos. They’re all so good but my favorites have to be the swing and, of course, the path. I do love paths especially in Autumn.
I also have to mention the one with the large leaf. There was something about the colors between the gold in the leaf and the blue in her eyes – really pretty!

Great photos! Here in CA there are only certain areas that really bloom with fall colors. Unfortunately, I dont live in one of those areas :(

I am so happy to see someone else’s kids in barefeet and shorts! I came home from grocery shopping today and my five year old was out in shorts with knee high rubber boots (at least he had shoes on) “helping” dad rake leaves. It’s an area where I’ve given up, if they’re cold they’ll put clothes and a jacket on.
