Food and Fabric

by Toni Herrbach

I realize that food and fabric do not really go together, unless you happen to spill food on your clothes, and then they might go together. Anyway, those just happened to be the two areas I am working on this week.

First was the linen closet. As hard as I try this closet is a constant wreck. I have almost given up on it, but I decided to give it one last clean up and then ask my husband to stop folding the sheets.

The next big job was the pantry. For various reasons, that deserve their very own blog post, my pantry has fallen apart lately. Frustrated that I couldn’t find anything anymore, I instructed the children to empty it one afternoon.

I am in Williamsburg right now, enjoying free passes for Veterans Day, I hope to get back to the house and work on some trouble areas at the end of the week.

You might consider not letting anyone in the pantry and the linen closet but you or another big person. Or have a pantry police and a closet commander.

If you have any good ideas for someone who doesn’t have a pantry, please please let me know! I would love my canned and boxed stuff to look that nice!
