While I love going to the gym, sometimes it isn’t possible with my schedule. For the past several years we’ve purchased fitness equipment for our home that does not take up a lot of space and is very versatile so it can be used for many exercises.
Here are some of our favorite work out at home exercise equipment.
Gaiam – Eco Total Body Balance Ball Kit
These balance balls can be used for a variety of exercises and also help work your core. They deflate and can be stored under a bed or dresser when not in use.
Gaiam – Eco Total Body Balance Ball Kit – $21.95, 5.99 shipping – Available at SwimOutlet.com
PORTABLE EXERCISE MAT
If you are doing any floor work at home I highly recommend an exercise mat.
I tried not using it for a few workouts and ended up with rug burns (through my clothes) on my back and rear end. It is definitely worth the investment and they last for a long time.

I love the Bosu trainer. It is probably my favorite at home piece of fitness equipment. You can do a variety of exercises with it and it also is great for strengthening your core.
It is the most expensive item on my list, but if you are serious about working out at home I highly recommend it.
