My Favorite Things: 12 Days of Christmas

by Toni Herrbach

I hope you’ve enjoyed all the other bloggers in this series 12 Days posts. Here are a few of my favorites.

Who to Tip and How Much by Mom’s Travel Tales

Are you confused about who you should tip while traveling. Travel expert Amy breaks it down for us and gives us some guidelines for our next trip!

Homemade Heath Bars by Lynn’s Kitchen Adventures

Need I say more? Lynn rocks the kitchen and I’m sure these heath bars will not disappoint!

Sparkly Table Settings by Songbird

It was hard to pick my favorite Christmas decorating tip from Songbird. Every idea is beautiful! The table setting was probably my favorite because it will still be years before my kids are old enough to dine on a decorated table!

Saving Money On Extended Family Gift-Giving by Surviving the Stores

Do you have a large extended family? These tips will save you money on your Christmas shopping.

Busy Hands Play-Doh Box by 1+1+1=1 (you must make this!!!)

Make sure you check out all Carisa’s posts because there are a ton of great printables and activities for kids. This one was my favorite though, it would make a great homemade gift!

Elf on the Shelf by The Thrifty Mama

I’d never heard of Elf on the Shelf until I read Crystal’s post and now it seems like everyone is talking about it! Sounds like a fun tradition.

Clutter Free Stocking Stuffers by Life as Mom

Tired of giving your kids “junk” that will just clutter up their room after Christmas. Jessica has some great ideas for stocking stuffers that kids can actually use!

What were some of your favorite ideas?

I didn’t follow every one of the 12-days gang, but I really enjoyed Songbird’s roses in the butter post, Lynn’s double chocolate peppermint bark (though the heath bars are right up there and the flavored cocoa too), and I still have plans to use some of the preschool nativity printables.
