As a “book lover” I actually have a problem with this. While I do like the way it looks, the only books I would be willing to destroy are books I don’t like (no matter if I already had a copy) but I would never display a book that I didn’t like.

There are always copies of books that have been damaged to the point of not being readable- lost covers, water damage, insect damage- but will have sections with enough good pages to complete a project like this. You can probably find them at estate sales, or you local used book shop might even save them for you if you ask nicely and offer to pay a small amount for them.

Ooooo! These are so cool! I am from Baltimore, and we have a free bookstore in the city (The Book Thing, if you ever get the chance!) What a great use for some of those books that have seen better days!

Being that the instructions are no longer available as this must be a dead site now, can anyone help me with how you roll up the paper?
