Today would have to be the BEST day so far.

Thank you for your prayers and support. I can’t wait to share the story with you. Soon.

PS- Sorry for not having my phone the right way… I had to pretend I was using it.

My husband has been deployed to the Middle East for 274 days.  These are my real thoughts expressing my heart during his absence.  I appreciate your prayers and kind words as we cope, adapt, and carry on without him until August 2014.  To read from the beginning, click here.

They did not have internet when my husband deployed to the first Gulf situation in the early 90’s. I spent the time in Germany with 2 children under 5 waiting for him to come home. He has since passed from his PTSD. It is good the wives have this now.

I was looking for the rest of the story starting from the missing/found child when the family was staying a hotel on an island (GTMO?) where may I find that?

    Thanks,
    RF

I don’t know you’re oldest daughters name, but her reaction was the best. So happy for all of you and I’m so glad he is home for good.

I had been wondering (worried) about not receiving “Deployment Day Updates”, but didn’t want to ask — just prayed harder! Came to the website today and am crying tears of joy for you and your family!

Thank you for the wonderful video! Sailor “Thank you also for making the sacrifice of serving for our country!”

I haven’t been keeping up with my blog feed, and realized I hadn’t seen any of your deployment posts for a while. Your video made me cry! So happy that he’s home!

Dear Lord in Heaven, when are we going to get updates??? I check everyday and the suspense of this story is a killer. (Yes, this is me being selfish and nosy. Of coarse you should want to spend every waking moment as a family enjoying his unexpected return. But really. How about a quick overview? Pretty please? 😀 )

I wondered why I hadn’t gotten any new “Deployment Day” posts in my email for the last week, so I came on here to “catch up.”. Now I am glad there aren’t any more of those posts! What a wonderful surprise for all of you!

Glad to see that he’s home; I had to explain to my four year old about deployments as she watched the video (Thankfully, her first experience with a deployment was when she was about 2 years old; it was easy to stay busy then!).

We may be dealing with another deployment next year; gotta love the military.

    Hi Toni & Family,
I am a friend of your mom and she turned me onto your web page The Happy House Wife. She sent this video last night and all I can say is that was an Awesome Home Coming! Made me cry to. I am so happy that your whole family is back together. Thank you for sharing this moment in time with everyone and tell you husband Thank You So Much for his Service to Our Country. He is a very blessed and brave man. 🙂
