Happy 4th Birthday to Cora! I have enjoyed the Cora and Kit series. It will be fun to see them in the years ahead. I’ve read your blog a long time as well, not too long after Cora was born, I think. Still reading and enjoying it and seeing your children grow up. I can’t believe your oldest daughter is in college now. Goodness! That’s ok, my youngest (of my 2) is married and has two children and they are homeschooling them already…Melody will be 5 in late May and she loves to draw. Son married a homeschooler as well. O the memories! Thanks!
I started reading you blog about that time. I was a few weeks pregnant and did not know it.My little one was smaller than curious George. Happy birthday Cora.
One of my little girls turned five today! Happy birthday to your Cora! I’m also a Navy wife currently living in the D.C. area. I’ve been enjoying your website for a few years now. Thanks:-).
Unbelievable!!! I must have been pregnant with my daughter when I was reading your posts about tiny baby Cora!! It seems like she should only 2 years old! The years couldn’t possibly have flown by THAT quickly! Wow! Happy Birthday BIG girl!! 🙂
Goodness, has it already been 4 years? That means I’ve been reading your blog for about 4 1/2 years (I think you’d just announced your pregnancy when I started reading). My eldest niece is 14 today. Time does fly!
I thought the same thing! I started following you at The Happy Housewife shortly after Cora was born. It hardly seems like that long ago. 🙂 My little one is going to be 5 next month!

I was just thinking about that picture the other day. I also started reading just before Cora was born, and I now have a 2-year-old.
Happy birthday, Cora!
