As many of you know, military commissaries shut down last Tuesday during the government shutdown. Over the weekend, they were ordered to reopen this week.
So, as of today,Tuesday October 8, 2013, your military commissary should be open for business. The only problem? No one has been there for a week to accept shipments or restock.
Last week, customers flocked to the stores and cleared the shelves stocking up before the commissary closed its doors. So while the commissary will be open today, don’t expect it to be fully stocked right away.
