I’m so excited! We have color!!!
I went over to the house this afternoon to see how much progress had been made on the painting and I was excited to see most of the house painted.
I cannot believe how much different it looks and it still has concrete floors! Well I can believe it because I’m a huge believer in changing a room with paint, but to finally see it in this house feels awesome!
Even though the rooms are not done I wanted to give you before and not quite after photos. If you weren’t a believer in paint you will be now!
Master Bedroom Before: purple walls/ built-in vaniety/ mirror.
Master Bedroom Now: Gray walls/ removed built-in and mirror.
Living Room Before: Yellow walls/fireplace mirror
Living Room Now: Gray walls/ no mirror
Boy’s Room Before: Cream built-ins/ cream walls/ carpet up the walls.
Boy’s Room Now: Pure white built-ins/ blue walls/ nothing on the floor yet.
Boy’s Room Before: off white trim/2 inch trim around the floor.
Boy’s Room Now: pure white trim/ 4 inch trim around the floor.
I also picked up a can of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I’m going to use it on my bathroom vanity and a second bathroom vanity because vanities are expensive to replace!
I’m not sure how I managed to dent the can on the drive home, but I did!
Tomorrow I’m going to start painting a few little projects if I can stay out of the way of the painters. If not I’ll have to wait until the weekend.
I can’t wait to take pictures with more light, we have a lot of the lights out right now and it gets dark so early I’m having a hard time getting photos right now. Can’t summer come back?!?!

LOVE those colors and Yes yes yes! Can’t wait to see how your bathroom vanity turns out! I know it’ll be great. BTW, what paint color etc did you use in your bedroom?
Toni Anderson says
Sherwin Williams Front Porch is the color throughout the house including my bedroom. I absolutely love it! We had friends stop by tonight and they both said it was the perfect gray.
