I love taking pictures, but as I was going through my 2010 photos I realized I go in photo spurts. I take 200 pictures in a few days, then nothing for a few weeks. In order to stay more consistent in my photo taking, and to make sure I take photos of all my kids, not just the girls, I have started the FB 365 Project.
The FB 365 Project is so simple I hope I’ll be able to do it! Every day I’ll take at least one picture. It can be of the kids, something we made, something we find in the yard, or some place we went. I’ll use my phone or my camera and I’ll upload the photo to my Facebook page, under the photos tab.
The fun thing is that you can upload your daily photo too. The only requirement is that the photo is family friendly, no naked hiney’s or PG language.

I love this idea. My camera is with me everywhere I go. 🙂 I take a lot of photos…usually several each week but not necessarily every day. Maybe I’ll try that, too.

I want to do this! I do the spurts of pictures too or the special occasion pictures. Did you sign up at 365blogspot? I didn’t get a picture on Saturday, to start off this year so I guess I’ll just do my 365 from Jan.2-Jan.2. I just hope I remember to do it. I need to set up my FB for it.

Nope, I’m just doing it on The Happy Housewife FB page. 🙂 I just created an album called FB 365 and I add a photo every day.

What a lovely idea. I was just thinking about how I wish I took more pictures of our lives. I think I will start this tomorrow. Thank you for such a great idea.

This is a great idea! I take photos in spurts as well…there are entire months without any at all! I think I take more pics with my “high tech” phone because it’s always nearby 🙂
I’ve just launched a new blog and this is a great way to start it off! Thanks, (as always!) for your great ideas!

I have been doing this for 6 months! It has improved my photo skills A LOT. If you get stuck as to what to take a picture of, they give you an assignment each day at http://dailyshoot.com/. You can also store your photos here http://365project.org/ or here http://shuttercal.com/. What I love about ShutterCal is that you can order prints of your project and have something tangible for your efforts. Blessings on your photo journey!

Thanks for the boost. I’m gonna do this too. I didn’t take any photos yesterday, so I uploaded one from New Year’s Eve. Close enough.
TheHappyHousewife says
Definitely close enough DawnJoy! I’m just trying to have fun with it!

I have been doing this since August. It has really documented our lives. Hope you enjoy it too!
