Today was busy.
Church, visiting our friend’s new house, lunch, errands, checking co-op homework, more errands, more friends, bed.
I’m tempted to say I was so busy I forgot he was deployed. But I went to church and EVERYONE asked about him.
Or me.
So no forgetting.
Have I ever mentioned that I HATE checking co-op homework?
I can’t stand the thought of being the one and only co-op homework checker for the rest of the school year.
Why is homework so much worse than homeschool work?
Bright spot today. Wonderful lunch date with my five littles.
My husband has been deployed to the Middle East for 274 days. These are my real thoughts expressing my heart during his absence. I appreciate your prayers and kind words as we cope, adapt, and carry on without him until August 2014. To read from the beginning, click here.

We aren’t a military family, so I am not familiar with deployment, but does that mean he doesn’t get any leaves or vacations? Is he gone that entire time? Prayers to you are your children and we appreciate the sacrifice you are making.

Yes, he is gone the entire time. 🙁
