Sage Sausage Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 celery stalk chopped
  • 1/2 pound sage sausage
  • 1/2 yellow onion chopped
  • 12 cups of Pepperidge Farm bread cubes
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • Thyme rosemary, basil, celery seed, parsley to taste.
  • 1 cup turkey or chicken broth

Instructions

  • Cook sausage in a large sauce pan until done.
  • Add butter to the cooked sausage in the sauce pan.
  • Add and sauté thin slices of celery and chopped onions. Remove from heat.
  • In a large bowl mix in sausage mixture with 12 cups Pepperidge Farm unseasoned bread cubes.
  • Mix in poultry seasoning, thyme, rosemary, basil, celery seed, and parsley to taste. Mix well.
  • Add chicken broth to moisten to your taste.
  • Cover and bake 350 for 30 minutes.
