Homemade Ginger Peach Iced Tea

  • 7 bags black tea
  • 1 2- inch piece of ginger peeled and sliced
  • 1 quart boiling water
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 cups frozen peaches
  • 1/3 cup agave nectar may substitute sugar to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  • Place tea, ginger and boiling water in a heat proof container. Allow tea to steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove tea bags and strain out ginger slices.
  • Pour half the tea into a pitcher.
  • Add remaining tea, frozen peaches, agave nectar and lemon juice to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Mix peaches into tea.
  • Serve in glasses filled with ice.
