Sauteed Cabbage and Bacon

Ingredients

  • 2 slices thin cut bacon I used trader Joe's Black Forest Bacon, a thin-cut variety, thinly sliced or diced
  • 10 ounces shredded cabbage I used pre-shredded from Trader Joes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Add the bacon and saute until mostly crispy and golden.
  • Toss in the cabbage with a few pinches of sea salt, stirring to mix.
  • Saute for 2-4 minutes until cabbage is wilted but still has some crunch left to it.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately.
