Not having a birthday is so much better.<\/p>\n

Today I decided to stop trying to be everything and decided to just be.<\/p>\n

There was a lot of stuff that needed to get done that didn’t get done. Tons.<\/p>\n

But when I tucked my girls in bed, my nine-year-old said to me,<\/p>\n

“Today seemed like the days we had when daddy was here, fun.”<\/p>\n

I kissed her on the cheek and promised her tomorrow would be the same.<\/p>\n
