Two weeks ago I was joined by a few of my Central Florida blog readers at the Chick-Fil-A in Waterford Lakes. We were there to celebrate their new healthy kid’s meal options.<\/p>\n

We had a great time and I really enjoyed getting to know my readers and the staff at the restaurant. We all appreciated their awesome hospitality. They treated us to lots of yummy food including their new healthy kid’s meal and chicken tortilla soup (amazing- order it next time you go) as well as ice cream, milkshakes and brownies.<\/p>\n

We also enjoyed a backstage tour of the restaurant, learned about the day-to-day operations and even got to make our own ice cream cones!<\/p>\n

I was seriously impressed with how clean the kitchen was (cleaner than mine!) and that it didn’t have that typical fast food smell.<\/p>\n

Did you know that your family, group of friends, or small school group can also have a backstage tour of your local Chick-Fil-A restaurant? Just speak with the manager to arrange your tour!<\/p>\n

I know it is hard to eat healthy when dining out, but Chick-Fil-A’s new healthy kid’s meal gives you the option of ordering grilled nuggets and Buddy Fruits\u00ae applesauce instead of the breaded nuggets and fries. My kids LOVE those Buddy Fruits, so I know they are excited to see them on the menu.<\/p>\n
