Donate Expired Coupons to Military Families Overseas

Thank you for your interest in the Coupons for Troops program.

Coupons for Troops matches stateside families with military families serving overseas to provide them with coupons. Military commissaries overseas accept expired coupons up to six month past the expiration date. Since it is difficult for families overseas to find coupons I started the program to help provide them with coupons from families back home in the states.

Please  visit the FAQ page to learn more about the program and sign up.

Thank you for supporting the troops with coupons.

  1. What a great program! I hope a lot of people sign up. I didn’t know things in commissaries overseas cost so much more.

  2. p.s. I shared this post on my blog, hope it’s OK.
Hope you can get a lot of people signed up to do this.

  3. I posted this to my Facebook page and will post on my blog.

  4. Thanks so much for handling this program!

I have a speaking engagement with a local women’s club next week, and I will be including this program in my presentation.

They may want to pursue this program as a pet project. I’ll contact you to get more information.

  5. Hi, I am wondering if you can send coupons that aren’t expired?

  6. I would love to participate in this, will you please get me the info?

  7. I’m not one to waste. Won’t the excess coupons be wasted if no one can use them? How is it they can use expired coupons, and in the USA, we can’t? Thanks.

Excess coupons are usually left at the commissary or given to other families on base. Military commissaries overseas have accepted expired coupons for years. I am not sure why they have the policy, but they do.
As far as waste, expired Q’s that are thrown away here in the states cannot benefit anyone. If you send them overseas they have the potential to help a military family.

  8. We were stationed in Korea and it was awesome when we got the expired coupons. They are good for 6 months past expiration at commissaries. I don’t know what program was used, but the coupons were mailed directly to the commissary and we could dig through them. It really helped because we didn’t get american newspapers so we didn’t get coupons. We saved a ton of money with the coupons. It is really appreciated, and thanks to all who participate!

  9. I have coupons that I would like to donate…please sent me the info (address) where to sent them.

I have lots of coupons right now that have expired that I would like to send to a family in need. Please send me an address of a family or two that I can help. I also have a sister-in-law who would like to participate. I can take an address or two for her as well. How soon can you send out this info? Thank you!

  11. I am so excited about this program. I heard about it on another site. when I went to work today I mention it to my co-workers. They all would like to give coupons to the Troops and there Famlies.

  12. I would like to send unused coupons to someone who can use them. Please send me contact info. I thought I had already filled out this form/contact info, but I guess I messed it up! Hopefully this one gets to you.
