They love passionately, they learn with vim and vigor, and they fight with equal zest. They just feel.\u00a0<strong>Everything<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The thought of teaching preschoolers at home can be overwhelming. You worry that you won\u2019t set them up for success, they won\u2019t learn to read, and they won\u2019t know what they need to know in order to move on in math, science, history, and geography.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Relax.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preschoolers are among the best and easiest children to teach. They want to learn. They\u2019re inquisitive, curious, and love adventures. There are resources such as Pinterest boards to help you plan <a target = \"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/happy1\/\" target=\"_blank\">themed studies<\/a> and <a target = \"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/colleenkessler\/sensory-play\/\">sensory play<\/a>. And you can find lots of wonderful preschool curriculum ideas by doing a simple Google search.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-27152\" title=\"Teaching Preschool at Home - Preschoolers are among the best and easiest children to teach because they learn through everyday life. Your preschooler <a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.raisinglifelonglearners.com\/5-tips-for-teaching-preschoolers-personal-hygiene-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">will learn through everyday life<\/a>\u00a0if you let him\/her.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>She\u2019ll soak up letters and sounds as you read the same picture book again and again every night at bedtime until she has it memorized and asks for a new one.<\/li>\n<li>He\u2019ll learn math as he stands next to you helping to make cupcakes. Or cutting the cake and serving equal sized pieces. Or noticing who got more M &amp; Ms when they were divvied up.<\/li>\n<li>As she rides in the car or walks around the block with you, she&#8217;ll observe community helpers such as policemen on patrol,\u00a0an ambulance on a rescue mission, or firemen washing their trucks.<\/li>\n<li>He\u2019ll even learn about zoology, fractions, letter blending, science methods, and more <a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.raisinglifelonglearners.com\/preschool-home-netflix\/\" target=\"_blank\">when you turn on Netflix or another video streaming service <\/a>to give him a bit of quiet time in the afternoon while you regroup and start dinner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Learning is everywhere, and your inquisitive preschooler is right in that mix of everywhere. She\u2019s busy playing and noticing. He\u2019s making sense of his world while watching you \u2013 the most important person in her world.<\/p>\n<p>So don\u2019t be overwhelmed.
