I was never a play doh fan. \u00a0It smells weird. \u00a0You can imagine I never wanted to incorporate play doh into our homeschool lessons.<\/p>\n

Eventually, after much pleading, I set aside\u00a0special time<\/em> for play doh fun<\/em> under serious surveillance so no one accidentally mixed colors. \u00a0Surely mixing colors is against play doh law.<\/p>\n

Rather than see how my tactile students loved to use play doh, I treated it like a viral infection. \u00a0Pick up every single tiny piece, pack it up tight, complain about it,\u00a0wash hands,\u00a0and set the containers on a high shelf.<\/p>\n

Once I got over the squishy weird texture and wonky smell, I decided to dump it on the table and incorporate it into every subject.<\/p>\n
