Both of my boys were once little. I didn’t “do” much teaching when they were toddlers, but we had a great time around ages three and four. \u00a0Depending on your child’s fine motor skills and ability to keep stuff out of his\/her mouth,\u00a0here are a few\u00a0fun preschooler activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Flash Cards. \u00a0<\/strong>My\u00a0son loves sorting words into categories, colors, or alphabet.
\n2. Magnetic Letters.<\/strong>\u00a0You can have little ones match the magnet to a flash card on the table.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/a> 3. Chalk.<\/strong> Host an art day outside for everyone (play Pictionary).
\n4. Stickers. \u00a0<\/strong>Make a spring collage.
\n5.\u00a0ABC Books.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>We can’t check out enough of them.
\n6. Hop Scotch. \u00a0<\/strong>Get creative and use masking tape to play inside (do the alphabet instead).
\n7. Egg Cartons.<\/strong> Color inside each one and have your child sort colored buttons.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n8. Nature Walks. <\/strong>Bring zip lock bags. \u00a0My son loves to fill them up with leaves and pine cones.
\n9. Giant Dice<\/strong>. \u00a0Roll and count the dots, match the number to flash cards.
\n10. Stamps.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Foam stamps are great for washable paints.
\n11. Size Sorting.<\/strong>\u00a0 Sort objects according to size–small, medium, and large.
\n12. Dry Erase Boards.<\/strong>\u00a0 We have many – 1 for the car, 1 for the table. \u00a0You can use them to work on letters.
\n13. Music Time.<\/strong>\u00a0Chances are your preschooler likes to dance, so have a dance party.
\n14. G<\/strong>iant Floor Puzzles.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0My son prefers the alphabet ones.<\/p>\n
