My friend Joy has created a free homeschool gradebook<\/a>. Those of you who are familiar with her site Five Js know that her free worksheets are awesome and very user friendly. This grade book has the following:<\/p>\n

  1. A\u00a0Summary Overview<\/strong> of all the current grades in each course<\/li>\n
  2. An Attendance Record<\/strong> that is\u00a0not<\/em> year-specific, so it does not have to be altered from year to year<\/li>\n
  3. Adjustable grading scale<\/strong> and\u00a0weighted grades<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Room for recording grades for up to 12 different courses<\/strong>, including information about the course such as curriculum and resources used<\/li>\n
  5. Ability to record up to\u00a05 different types of grades<\/strong> (such as daily, quizzes, tests, etc.) with each type having a different weight if desired<\/li>\n
  6. Grades\u00a0automatically averaged<\/strong> according to\u00a0weight<\/strong> and number ofcredits<\/strong> for the course<\/li>\n
  7. A printable\u00a0Book List<\/strong>,\u00a0Extra-Curricular Activities\u00a0Report<\/strong>, and\u00a0Field Trip List<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. A printable\u00a0Report Card<\/strong> and\u00a0Course List<\/strong> that are automatically generated<\/li>\n
  9. Detailed directions<\/strong> about how to use the spreadsheet template<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
