After peeling wallpaper for two weeks I decided to paint over the wallpaper in my bathroom instead of peeling it off.<\/p>\n<p>I realize that the wallpaper could come up, but I took a lot of precautions so hopefully this makeover will last for a few years.<\/p>\n<p>Bathroom plan:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paint frame on sink mirror and wall mirror.<\/li>\n<li>Paint over existing wallpaper.<\/li>\n<li>Remove shower doors.<\/li>\n<li>Paint vanity.<\/li>\n<li>Spray paint nobs and fixtures.<\/li>\n<li>Replace faucets.<\/li>\n<li>Paint doors &amp; trim (not finished)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0026ZPM2I\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B0026ZPM2I&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=thehaphou-20&amp;linkId=RJPP656ISYE3EQG2\">Kingston Brass Faucets<\/a>\u00a0were the most expensive part of the makeover at $66 each on Amazon. I used <a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000MITIF8\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B000MITIF8&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=thehaphou-20&amp;linkId=H2WZQ3IZNBBRCUCO\">Insl-x Sxa-110-04 Stix Waterborne Bonding Primer<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=thehaphou-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B000MITIF8\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/> to paint all the mirrored frames and it worked really well. It is in pretty bad shape, but I think the tiles will buy us some more time.<\/p>\n<p>We removed the mirrored shower doors and replaced it with a $8 shower rod. The old towel rack was on the shower doors so I&#8217;ll need to hang a new one in the bathroom.
