I’ve been busy today and they were laying the wood floor so I tried to stay out of the house today.<\/p>\n

One of you suggested using the\u00a0vinyl peel and stick tile<\/a>. While this is a bit more expensive than contact paper ($0.69 per tile vs $5 for a roll of contact paper) on a cabinet with lots of water damage I think the tiles will hold up better.<\/p>\n

It took me less than 10 minutes to install the tile in the cabinet. It was actually easier than working with contact paper.<\/p>\n

I can’t believe I haven’t done this before. It looks great and I think will hold up much better than contact paper until we can replace the cabinet.<\/p>\n

I need to caulk around the edges and then it will be finished.\u00a0My daughter is out of town this week and I’m hoping to finish the bathroom before she returns. I know she will be excited to see her room carpeted and her bathroom completely updated.<\/p>\n

I’ve spent a lot of time this week looking at my before pictures. I’ve been in the house so often\u00a0at various stages it is hard to remember what it looked like when we started this whole process.<\/p>\n

We removed the vanity, took down the mirror, removed the stain glass vinyl cling from the window. We also replaced the baseboard, painted the wall, replaced the lights, replaced the carpet and painted the trim.<\/p>\n

This weekend will be a busy one as we are installing the cabinets and finishing up the last few walls. More before and after pictures coming later this week!<\/p>\n
