We can’t go in the house until tomorrow night because the painter doesn’t want us to kick up dust while the primer is drying, so not much happened this weekend.<\/p>\n

I did go by the house yesterday while\u00a0everything was being primed. The doors and built-ins are\u00a0so white and beautiful. I can’t wait to see them when they are done.<\/p>\n

There isn’t a ton we can do until the painting is finished, so it was nice to have a break. I spent time today pricing out fans and lighting and researching ways to deal with the gigantic mirror in my bathroom.<\/p>\n

One project we are going to work on next week is building\u00a0the barn door to hang on\u00a0the wall we built in the family room.<\/p>\n

I need your advice\u00a0designing the door. It will sit on the paneled wall, so I’m not sure the door should be paneled, although I’m open to suggestions. The door will be painted white, unless you have an awesome alternative.<\/p>\n

Finally, I’ve found some good deals on Amazon for fans and lighting.<\/p>\n

I’m considering getting this fan for all the kids’ bedrooms. It is a Hunter 51010 Southern Breeze 42-inch White Ceiling Fan<\/a>\"\" and is only $65. It is cheaper on Amazon than at Home Depot or Lowes and shipping is free.\"\"<\/p>\n

I can’t wait to get back in the house and see the paint colors. I’m waiting on purchasing fans for the rest of the house until I see the wall color. There’s still a lot to do, but it definitely feels like we are getting closer!<\/p>\n
