Pick out or purchase all the felt colors you want. &nbsp;<\/strong>I purchased tan colored felt in bulk at the craft store. &nbsp;All the other colors were purchased at twenty cents per sheet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/felt-valentines-day-cookies\/feltc2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25137\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25137 alignnone\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc2.jpg\" alt=\"feltc2\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Trace your cookies and cut out all the shapes you will need. &nbsp;<\/strong>Each cookie will need three pieces of felt. &nbsp;Two tan colored pieces and one piece for the decorations. &nbsp;You can use stencils if you prefer. &nbsp;I drew my cookies freehand. &nbsp;Most bakers usually don&#8217;t have cookies turn out in perfect shapes!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/felt-valentines-day-cookies\/feltc3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25138\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25138 alignnone\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc3.jpg\" alt=\"feltc3\" width=\"500\" height=\"343\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc3.jpg 500w, https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc3-300x206.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. A<strong>ttach the decorations to each cookie u<\/strong>sing a hot glue gun or sewing supplies. &nbsp;<\/strong>I use my hot glue gun when making felt crafts. &nbsp;If you are an expert sewer, you might choose yo sew your cookies. &nbsp;If &nbsp;using a hot glue gun, work slowly and remember to pull off any hot glue strings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/felt-valentines-day-cookies\/feltc4\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25139\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25139 alignnone\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc4.jpg\" alt=\"feltc4\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc4.jpg 500w, https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/01\/feltc4-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Attach the bottom cookie shape to your cookie. &nbsp;Leave a small hole for stuffing. &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
