Markers, crayons and other card decorating items.<\/li>\n<li>Envelopes<\/li>\n<li>Pens<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Any store bought greeting cards you happen to have.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Instructions<\/h4>\n<p><strong>1. Using card stock and craft supplies, make greeting cards.<\/strong>\u00a0This can be a fun activity to do with your kids on a rainy day. \u00a0Try to brainstorm with your family about the type of greeting cards you will need. \u00a0If your kids attend many birthday parties, make a variety of boy and girl birthday cards. You will also want to include thank you notes, wedding cards, get well cards, shower cards and other greetings that are relevant to your family.<\/p>\n<p>Get creative with your greeting cards! Use scrapbooking supplies, and even look up greeting card quotes online to make these special!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/09\/card1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23529 aligncenter\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/09\/card1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/09\/card1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/09\/card1-300x182.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. \u00a0Locate unused greetings cards and envelopes you already have.\u00a0<\/strong> If you already have a collection of blank greeting cards, thank you cards or an excess of leftover envelopes from other occasions, round them up and put them in your greeting card station. \u00a0Often we have leftover envelopes from birth announcements and Christmas cards that can be used. \u00a0If you don&#8217;t have any envelopes, you can purchase a package of them or make some.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. \u00a0Include nice pens.\u00a0<\/strong>Find or purchase a few nice pens to keep in your greeting card station. \u00a0This way, you will always be able to write a note in your greeting card, even when you are in a hurry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Place everything in a container.\u00a0<\/strong> Place all your greeting cards, envelopes and pens into a nice container. \u00a0This container can be a decorated shoe box, a basket, or a plastic container with a \u00a0lid. \u00a0You will want to make sure you store it in a place where your greeting cards will stay in good shape.
