The rest of the family has to help you, for your sake, for their own character building, for the sanity of all who live there.<\/p>\n<p>My kids have to do at least 3 chores a day. They can choose out of the grab bag which is just a gift bag, decorated, with several chores (of my choosing) which they pull out every day. I change up the slips of paper according to what I need done.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/office.microsoft.com\/en-us\/images\/results.aspx?ex=2&amp;qu=chores#ai:MP900387267|mt:2|\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-22197 aligncenter\" title=\"chores\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/06\/chores.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/06\/chores.jpg 600w, https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/06\/chores-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Every morning they all empty the dishwasher and fold their own clothes that I dump on the couch and they have to put them away.
