The silverware must be touching the aluminium foil, so be sure to follow the process in this order.<\/li>\n<li>Cover with boiling water and immediately add baking soda. \u00a0Take a step back as there will be a mild chemical reaction between the baking soda and the aluminum foil.<\/li>\n<li>Leave your silverware in the baking soda solution for a few more minutes after the &#8220;fizz&#8221; has settled down.<\/li>\n<li>Remove silver.
