This weekend I finished my closet and my dresser (except the top drawer). I have one large bag of garbage and two bags to take to Goodwill. It really feels great to declutter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/02\/closet-finished-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20710\" title=\"closet finished-2\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/02\/closet-finished-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/02\/closet-finished-2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/02\/closet-finished-2-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If the top of my closet looks less organized, that is because instead of packing away bulky winter coats in totes, I decided to use the extra space in my closet to hang them for the summer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/02\/Closet-finished-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20709\" title=\"Closet finished-1\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/02\/Closet-finished-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"374\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/02\/Closet-finished-1.jpg 374w, https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2013\/02\/Closet-finished-1-224x300.jpg 224w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 374px) 100vw, 374px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While I think <a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/spring-cleaning-storing-seasonal-items\/\" target=\"_blank\">totes are great for storing clothes<\/a>, I prefer to hang them out of reach.
