During back to school sales you can often pick these up on sale for less than 25 cents each. New York 11 April 2009\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I use these boxes to keep all the cords for various devices separate (one for iPods, one for Blackberries, one for Wii, etc).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/01\/DSCF9012.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-19822\" title=\"DSCF9012\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/01\/DSCF9012-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"553\" height=\"415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/01\/DSCF9012-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/01\/DSCF9012-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also love to use these in the bathroom and closet. Keep makeup you use everyday in one, extra makeup can each go in a box by type (eyeshadows in one, nail polish in another).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/01\/DSCF9013.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"DSCF9013\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/01\/DSCF9013-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"573\" height=\"430\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I use one to make an easy first aid kit, filling it with bandaids, neosporin, bactine, etc. I keep a simple sewing kit in one, with threads in the most common colors, needles that I like, scissors, safety pins, and sticky velcro.<a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/01\/DSCF9014.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"DSCF9014\" src=\"\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/home-management\/files\/2012\/01\/DSCF9014.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"473\" height=\"355\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The kitchen is a fun place for pencil boxes too. Chopsticks in one, cake decorating tips and supplies in another.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget the office or school area! To keep quarrels to a minimum, each kid has a box of &#8220;colors&#8221; (colored pencils, crayons, paints) and a box of pencils, erasers, and sharpeners.
