I was at Goodwill the other day and found two orange tanks in my girls&#8217; sizes. I thought a dollar for each was a little high, but I really wanted to make these dresses!<\/p>\n<p>This project was so easy, and I wish I would have photographed the steps for a tutorial! I still have another one to make so there might a tutorial coming next week. Basically it is a bunch of rectangles, straight stitches, and a gathering stitch. The whole project took less than one hour from start to finish.<\/p>\n<p>Total cost for the dress:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tank $1<\/li>\n<li>Fabric $2.50<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total $3.50<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the pictures she is wearing a shirt under her dress.
