It was full of mostly misplaced tools, boxes, sporting goods, our camping equipment, leftover garage sale item that we decided to keep instead of donating with the other leftover stuff, and a bunch of junk.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the <strong>benefits<\/strong> of cleaning your garage (or keeping a clean garage) are <strong>obvious<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can fit your car(s) in the garage<\/li>\n<li>You can find your things<\/li>\n<li>You can walk from the house to the driveway without your mountain climbing ropes<\/li>\n<li>It discourages rodents from hanging out.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>But<\/strong>, there is a direct link between a clean garage and <strong>saving money<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>I first clued in on this when I gathered <strong><strong>all the hammers I found. <\/strong><\/strong>I guess when you can&#8217;t find a hammer, you buy a new one!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6252.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-458\" src=\"\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6252-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"410\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><strong>By cleaning your garage<\/strong>, you save money by knowing where your tools are so you don&#8217;t have to buy a new one every time you need one. I also found 4 bottles of PVC glue and 2 of those PVC pipe cutter thingies. <strong>Buy one<\/strong>, store it in your clean tool area, and <strong>find it when you need it!<\/strong> This same principle applies for\u00a0bug sprays, oil, cleaners, paint, and pool supplies.<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6265.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-462\" src=\"\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6265-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"717\" height=\"479\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One of the first things I did on my nice clean workbench was to fix a shovel with a broken handle. The wooden handle came out of the shovel the last time I used it, but with a messy workbench, <strong>I wasn&#8217;t too excited<\/strong> about fixing it. Now that I know where all my tools are (which hammer should I choose?), I <strong>quickly fixed the handle<\/strong> and avoided a trip to Home Depot to buy a new one.<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6253.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-459\" src=\"\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6253-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"215\" \/><\/a><a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6271.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-464\" src=\"\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6271-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"215\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re <strong>like my family<\/strong>, you&#8217;ve lost your fair share of bikes, scooters, and skateboards to rust because they&#8217;ve been left outside. We picked up 2 nice bike racks at a garage sale recently, and when you <strong>organize your manual transportation devices<\/strong>, the kids are much more likely to <strong>put them away<\/strong> when they&#8217;re done playing with them.<\/p>\n<p><a target = \"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6263.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-461\" src=\"\/\/www.orlandosbestdeals.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_6263-684x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"410\" height=\"614\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are so inclined, a great way to <strong>save money<\/strong> is to buy older, well built furniture at a garage sale, thrift store, or off of <strong>Craigslist,<\/strong> and refinishing it or repairing it your <strong>nice clean garage<\/strong>!
