I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas and have been able to connect to the internet only twice for a total of about 20 minutes after too many tries to count. I was on-line with a live customer service rep for over an hour on Christmas night and after doing everything they could come up with, I still am unsuccesfull logging on to wi-fi…If anyone has any answers other than turning it on and off, holding the off button for 20 seconds with the power cord out and battery charged, turning wi-fi on and off, resetting to factory settings, turning router and modem on and off, downloading new version (which I did on my 1 of only 2 successful log ons) please let me know…sending it back soon if the problem continues!!!
