It&#8217;s one of my favorite foods to order when I&#8217;m at a restaurant. A few years ago I realized that I didn&#8217;t have to pay expensive restaurant prices, I could make it myself. It&#8217;s one of my favorite foods. However I don&#8217;t like all the calories that come with it. When I realized I could make a low carb flatbread that wasn&#8217;t 500 calories per slice I was pretty excited. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be clear, I&#8217;m not a huge fan of diets or fads. But I am a fan of finding ways to make things just a little bit healthier for me when it comes to eating. For example, I make my chicken salad with Greek yogurt instead of mayo and I use natural peanut butter instead of the sugary sweet stuff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think if you can make these small changes in your eating habits <a target = \"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/real-life\/fit-for-good\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"you will see big results over time.  (opens in a new tab)\">you will see big results over time. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key to this recipe is to purchase the <a target = \"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3rABc2I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"low carb wraps (opens in a new tab)\">low carb wraps<\/a> from the grocery store. These are available at every grocery store I&#8217;ve ever shopped at it. I usually make the standard cheese and pepperoni for my kids or  four cheese. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I prefer crisp crust for my thin pizza&#8217;s so I bake the flatbread for about 3 minutes before adding the toppings. I typically spread the Alfredo sauce very lightly so it doesn&#8217;t get the flatbread soggy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s important to not add the prosciutto or spring mix until after you baked the pizza. The prosciutto will turn crispy and not taste as amazing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not skip the glaze in this recipe. It is worth buying a bottle of it at the grocery store. It MAKES the recipe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you like more traditional flavors on your pizza, you can substitute any of these toppings for your standard pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These flatbreads are also great for letting the kids make their own pizzas. Typically one flatbread serves two kids. Just remember to go light on the toppings as the crust is very thin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best part about this recipe&#8230; you will have dinner on the table in about 15 minutes. That&#8217;s quicker than any drive-thru line (except maybe Chick-Fil-A) or faster than you can have a pizza delivered to your home!
