Have I ever told you about the time I tried to make cream puffs from scratch? I didn’t have a mixer so I was using a food processor. The dough was very sticky and I made the mistake of trying to scoop out the dough with my hand.<\/p>\n

The problem? There are some pretty sharp blades at the bottom of that food processor. I don’t want to get into all the yucky details, but let’s just say it was a long time before I tried to make cream puffs again.<\/p>\n

My family loves cream puffs, but I don’t think they are worth it. When I discovered that one of my favorite brands,\u00a0Pepperidge\u00a0Farm, sold puff pastry shells<\/a> I was pretty excited.<\/p>\n

Today I have a recipe for you that is perfect for holidays and it comes together in a flash! You can make the pudding in advance and you’ll have dessert on the table in less than 25 minutes.<\/p>\n

Or use instant pudding and whip up an awesome treat for unexpected guests that drop by during the holidays.<\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/h3>
  • Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Shells<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> box instant pudding<\/span><\/li>
  • Milk<\/span> for the pudding<\/span><\/li>
  • Whipped cream<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n

    Instructions<\/h3>
    • Bake pastry shells according to the directions.<\/div><\/li>
    • While pastry shells are baking make pudding.<\/div><\/li>
    • Set pudding in the fridge.<\/div><\/li>
    • Remove pastry shells from the oven and cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.<\/div><\/li>
    • Remove tops, discard or eat them.<\/div><\/li>
    • Place one large scoop of pudding into each shell.<\/div><\/li>
    • Top with whipped cream.<\/div><\/li>
    • Serve.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n
