Add some peach and ginger to your tea, and you’ve got a winning recipe for your next BBQ or family gathering.

This recipe for homemade ginger peach iced tea is a sweet tea. As any good southerner knows, sweet tea is made sweet with simple syrup. The classic simple syrup recipe is 1 cup sugar to 1 cup water. The problem is, 1 cup of sugar adds a lot of empty calories!

That’s why I started using agave nectar in my recipes. Since agave nectar is five times sweeter than sugar, you can use significantly less and still get a sweet tea. With just 1/3 cup agave nectar, and the natural sweetness you get from the peaches, this recipe not only tastes great, it saves you calories as well!

While my family loves the zing from the ginger, if you have younger kids at home, you may want to leave the ginger out.

<div id="wprm-recipe-container-29345" class="wprm-recipe-container"
