I was right. I was hardly able to take a picture because these donuts disappeared off the plate so quickly. You can use canned pumpkin, but I used homemade. Make sure you use a thermometer because the wrong temperature will ruin the donuts.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-29752-step-0-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Roll out to about 1\/4 inch thick on a floured surface.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-29752-step-0-6\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Cut out large circles (I used a pub glass) .<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-29752-step-0-7\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Then make the holes (I used a medecine cup)<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-29752-step-0-8\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">(For more details on rolling out and cutting the donuts visit my <a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousewife.com\/cooking\/doughnuts\" target=\"_blank\">homemade donut tutorial<\/a>.)<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-29752-step-0-9\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Drop donuts in frying pan two at a time. Fry for one minute and then flip. Fry an additional 1 to 2 minutes.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-29752-step-0-10\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Do not over cook.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-29752-step-0-11\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Place on paper towels to cool.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n<div id=\"recipe-video\"><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>I frosted with a cream cheese frosting. I don&#8217;t have an official recipe, but I blended together milk, cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla and powdered sugar.
