This week was a pretty good week for me. I managed to keep the grocery bill under $60, by planning our meals around what was already in the house. The commissary was still running its cereal special so I stocked up for the last time. As I have said before, I am not a big fan of cereal, but when it is free or close to free I do purchase it for the crazy mornings, or for a snack to take on the road.
Commissary Trip-
Total after sales but before coupons $23.61
Total after coupons $10.07
Another 50% savings!

I stopped at CVS to pick up pull-ups and take advantage of the Huggies ECB deal.
I must have missed a coupon, so I ended up paying $7 OOP and received $10 in ECB’s. Not my best trip, but I love getting deals on diapers!

I did pretty well this week, too! I still have to do my basic grocery shopping, but after using and abusing Walgreens today, I felt the need to hop into this bright and early.
I spent: $47.99 OOP.
I received in RRs: $50.00.
I received in Rebates: $20.00.
I received in product: $200.00.
I have enough aluminum foil to protect my entire house from an alien invasion.
I have enough toothpaste so that I don’t have to buy any for the next two years.
I have enough (good) lotion so that my skin will be smooth for another year.
On top of it, I got nearly-free Nair (gir’s best friend!), tons of free gum, free makeup, free toothbrush, and nearly-free nail polish.
In essence, Walgreens paid me $20 to help them clear out their Aveeno stock. Woo!

I stopped by CVS a couple weeks ago and signed up for a card, but I’ve yet to actually shop there. But after reading about all the great buys you’ve gotten there, I think I need to look over their fliers again and give it a try!
